Keeping vigil
I set up an altar on the fireplace. It's still too warm to have an actual fire, but candles in the fireplace can work very well.
And then except for going to work, an occasional trip down the hall, or grabbing a small something to eat, I kept vigil in from of the fireplace.
Yes, I am tired and my knees hurt, but it is worth it.
