Quick notes to a new seeker - UpdatedJust a fast one today, I'm
packing
Start by listening.
Before you say anything, listen again. Just to make sure you understand, listen
again.
Always do what you promise. Try to do more than you promise. Beware of anyone who tells you power comes through victimhood. That power can only be borrowed and only at the sufferance of another. Books aren't destinations, they're signposts. Like it or not, you still make the journey yourself. You can always go further than the book can carry you. Ask questions. Question the answers. Question your questions. A label doesn't entitle you to anything. Like attracts like. Remember that well. It's one of the most basic rules of life. You want success, go find successful people. You want failure, go find people who don't believe you can do it. You want magick, go look harder at life. If our dreams seem small, it's up to us to make them greater. We need to make our own, not reach for the dreams of another. We can make it our Journey, or we can live the Story of another. Make it better today. Keep polishing. Know yourself. Know what you can do. Know what you're willing to do. Know the price you're willing to pay. Robert Heinlein said "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch." Anything you do is going to take time, effort, and resources. That's where the sacrifice comes in.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
