Going the internet quizzes one better


Analyzing blog writing to tell the type of thinking

Thanks to sunfell, I saw another interesting link, the Typealyzer. It's supposed to analyze thinking types by blog writing. Since I have three different blogs (that you know of, heh heh heh), I figured I'd try all three and see what the results were. It's always a mistake to put too much stock in these internet things, but at least this one doesn't give you a quiz. Since it draws on the writing (the more the better I assume), I'd say it has a better chance than most of being accurate.

For Pagan Vigil and Technopagan Yearnings, it defined me like this:

INTP - The Thinkers

The logical and analytical type. They are especialy attuned to difficult creative and intellectual challenges and always look for something more complex to dig into. They are great at finding subtle connections between things and imagine far-reaching implications.

They enjoy working with complex things using a lot of concepts and imaginative models of reality. Since they are not very good at seeing and understanding the needs of other people, they might come across as arrogant, impatient and insensitive to people that need some time to understand what they are talking about.

For teknologi, it defined me as this:

ESTJ - The Guardians

The organizing and efficient type. They are especially attuned to setting goals and managing available resources to get the job done. Once they´ve made up their mind on something, it can be quite difficult to convince otherwise. They listen to hard facts and can have a hard time accepting new or innovative ways of doing things.

The Guardians are often happy working in highly structured work environments where everyone knows the rules of the job. They respect authority and are loyal team players.

Keeping in mind that it would be a mistake to draw any definite conclusions, but at a hunch I would say that the teknologi one is me in a "normal" state of mind, the Pagan Vigil one is me wearing my "leader hat," and the Technopagan Yearnings one is me trying to draw from all parts of my mind and personality.
