Nature's touchand your Journey
So why do I spend all this time writing about the
outdoors?
Even when I am short of sleep and don't do it particularly well? It goes back to the Journey and the Story. Someone else tells you the Story. You experience the Journey. When I talk about rain in the desert, or an Arizona lightning storm at night, or the windsong through the canyons, or all the millions of shades of green that smash into my eyeballs when I leave my desert, I am telling you about an emotional peak experience. It's about as peak as you can get and still remain passive. It's Nature with a capital N, a Divine Aspect that plays your nerves in harmonies and rhythms you could never imagine. All you have to do is open yourself up and you will feel Her come to life inside of you. And then you take a step into the unknown… That's when you make it active. Catch
a
Smile
Catch a Song And we'll fly beyond the rainbow To a land of enchantment Escape till the Dawn And though morning will come And take away the rainbow You'll still hear the echo of my song Hmm, that didn't quite do it. How about this? There's
a light in the
forest
When the moonbeams filter down There's a mirror in the greenwood When the dew is on the ground Every branch and every blossom Every root and every leaf Drink the tears of the Goddess in the morning. Well, the sun was her lover When the twilight came around. He said, "Lady, I'll protect you 'Til the world stops turning round." And she danced in his brilliance While the forest people slept, And she whispered in his ear the word, "Remember." And the owls sang her song And the crickets sang along, And the people were soothed in their sleep. Where her feet touched the earth Midnight orchids sprang from nothing, And the forest grew thick with her dreams. That's
it.
Bright & Dark Blessings, all.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
