Working areaClearing the pile and making
choices
No jackhammer thunking away today, but plenty of
backup whistles and lots of engine noise.
NOT my favorite sounds. And not conductive to deep thoughts. So I am picking what things other than electronics are going to live on top of my desk. Most of the electronics live on the right side of the desk, MaKai has it's own Lucite stand that also the hubs and my iPod and Palm docks. The keyboard fits on a shelf when I am not using it. My Rolodex of course. And yes, I have all the info on my computer. But my suppliers and the people I regularly do business with are in the Rolodex. My note card bleacher which slides to one side of my hutch, out of the way when I am not using it. My graph pad which doubles as a mouse pad (don't laugh till you try it). My in basket is below the printer shelf that holds my laptop in it's case. I thought long and hard about the crystal ball, I really did. But I was afraid I would knock it off the stand and break it. No, the one esoteric thing I decided on was a small statue, almost three inches tall, carved of a very dense wood. Looked at one way, it's obviously a phallus. Looked at another way, it's obviously a vagina (note to self, thesaurus.com has no listing for vagina). After all, it is a nature religion, and one thing can have different uses. I thought about moving some of the altar pieces over, but this is going to be a working desk. (And the Wild Man statue still towers over it all)

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
