Tea and tinted clouds

My grandfather's legacy

I love the sunrise. Don't let anyone tell you different.

This morning there was a steady wind pushing low hanging clouds across the horizon, obscuring part of Lady Moon. The rising sun tinted the clouds peach and violet and the wind was just sharp enough to nip your skin with the promise of winter.

Perfect weather for some lemon tea and honey.

Sunrises were my maternal grandfather's favorite time. That's when he'd do his coffee and make his peace with the world. For a Baptist, he was awfully Pagan sometimes.

He wouldn't approve of the tea though, he was a Folger's man.
