Seeing is believing

I need new glasses.

One casualty of my solstice rites was my pair of glasses. Gorilla Glue rides to the rescue but they don't fit my face.

No one hour glasses here. I went in to the local optometrist. It's only been mumble-mumble years since my last exam, and even longer since my last exam there. Long enough for the old eye doctor to have retired and the new one to set up a thriving practice. The left eye doesn't need a new 'script, but the right eye does. And here I was passing the eyestrain off because my glasses were crooked.

I'm afraid I can't do the trendy minimalist design, my new glasses owe their frames to the classic aviator. I am bowing to the inevitable. I'm sensitive to light, and my stress level can make that worse. I used to have photo-gray glasses, now I am getting them again even if they are called Transitions.

Wednesday, maybe Thursday.

Another case of good technology.

I just figured out what bothers me most about this little wireless keyboard. I don't want the Function key, that is where Control is supposed to be when I am spellchecking.
