Lightning rips through the weave of nightMonsoons in my desert
So, two nights ago.
Lightning storms. It's one of the great things about an Arizona monsoon, as long as you are INSIDE. Without that many buildings around, one strike can light up a third of the night sky. For just an instant, cliffs seventy, eighty miles away are revealed in a flash. There is something primal about it. But then I would think that. My gods fit the sky father/earth mother mold. Mostly. And when they feel like it. Not sure if I should compare the lightning strike to a forge or an orgasm. There's precedent for both. Sometimes both at once. I think I'll just say it is a marvelous and magickal world we live in.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
