Lost in the storyPeople so disconnected from reality that
a movie depresses them
A week ago I would have said that some of my more
radical conclusions about Pilgrims or Story People were
unjustified.
Then I read this article this morning. Audiences experience 'Avatar' blues. Hmmm. I really should say something nice now. But I can't resist the snarky. Now, if you're
blue
And you don't know where to go to Why don't you go where fashion sits Puttin' on the Ritz Different types who wear a daycoat Pants with stripes and cutaway coat Perfect fits Puttin' on the Ritz Dressed up like a million dollar trooper Trying hard to look like Gary Cooper Super-duper Come, let's mix where Rockefellers Walk with sticks or "umberellas" In their mitts Puttin' on the Ritz Now, I of all people know that depression is a terrible thing to lose yourself in. But Stars above and Earth below, IT'S A MOVIE!! Fiction! A fable! If you can't see the beauty of the planet around you, you aren't looking hard enough. Yep, even in those cityscapes that you've given up on. Humans aren't separate from the World, we're a part of Nature too. Stop following another's story and go start your own Journey.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
