A quick question about the juicy pieces

An improvised replacement

Well, I had something else to write about. I even had it mostly finished this morning about eight a.m., but the situation changed and became personal and more than a little ugly. And since I'm only peripherally involved, it's not my place to talk about it now.

Umm, hi there? *waves across the surging electron currents of cyberspace*

Let me see what I can find.

Neo scans his Google alerts mail and the Pagan sites he follows. As a last resort he turns to his quote file.

Hmmm.

The only thing that's really jumping out is the brief note Jason Pitzl-Waters did at The Wild Hunt Blog on The Sexual Politics of the Frosts. Some of the comments are pretty good.

I have to say, I disagree with the Frosts. Not so long ago I wrote my own bit on Sex & the Modern Pagan, you can read what I think there. But some of the comments about the Frost piece have me a little concerned. It's like the second that sex is mentioned, let out the PC police.

Sometimes I obsess, and I am probably reading something into this that isn't there. But within the last few years, I've noticed that the juicy pieces are getting pushed further back into the shadows. It's not just sex, although that's probably the most obvious. It seems to be anything that might be objectionable.

Is this a part of Paganism going mainstream? Are we supposed to be ashamed of the juicy pieces?

I am glad to see the dialogue though.
