Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Intuition & Inspiration

Let's talk about some of the most misunderstood things when it comes to "magickal thinking."

Most people think that intuition is something that just pops answers into your head. That's not exactly how it works. Intuition is just a part of your brain that works faster and without language to give you answers. You're usually caught up in the language part of your brain, so you're not always aware of your intuition working.

I don't mean to brag but I have to set the stage. I'm very intelligent and I rely on my intuition. I'll methodically work through
A, B, C and end up with H.672-blue without going through D, E, and F and G. More times than not, H.672-blue is case specific. So I'll have to work backwards through G, F, E, and D so I can work back to general case H.

It's still faster than plodding through
D, E, F and G with my regular brain.

Even though intuition is faster and more powerful than regular reasoning, it still depends on a good information. If I don't understand
A, B, and C, I will just get wrong answers faster. There's nothing unnatural about intuition, it won't magically provide right answers if I didn't start with truth.

You have to begin by learning. Intuition relies on knowledge and experience.

Knowledge is what you read in a book. It's the facts and emotions.

Experience is what you do.

I've found that intuition relies on about one third knowledge and about two thirds on experience.

That's why it's not enough to learn the basic facts, you have to live the facts and act.

It's called Manifestation. It's how you bring what you know into the World to change it.

Reading about baseball isn't enough. You have to play the game.

Watching a YouTube video on how to grow squash isn't enough. You have to get the dirt under your nails.

Learn all you can, especially from people who don't agree with you. Ask questions. Question the answers. Question your questions.

Try to do things with what you've learned. Make something new that you've never tried before. Then do it again until you get it right.

That's the way to train your intuition. You give it the strongest base you can and you reinforce that base every chance you get.

Inspiration is something totally different.

There have been times when I've had a situation. All of the sudden, a full blown answer pops into my head with the absolute certainty it will work. And it does.

Always.

Often depending on something I don't know.

I've no idea where these ideas come from. I do know they are not my intuition. I'd like to think it's my Gods giving me a nudge or two in the right direction. I don't know for sure. I just know it works.

If I trust.

If I have faith.

And afterwards I give my Gods the credit and thank them.
