Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.


This painting is the 1884 American classic The Swimming Hole by Thomas Eakins. As usual, the picture is a link to a larger file.

These days it's hard to find a nude male outdoors in America without there being some sexual context.

Eakins explored nudes in much of his work. This picture showed one of the very few times that public nudity was accepted in America.

Looks like fun, doesn't it?
