Unusual Unkindness

This morning is pretty damp. It’s not actually raining now.
Usually when ravens group together, it’s up on fences or power lines or rooftops. Not trees so much.
And definately not on the ground. Single ravens on the ground yes, but hardly ever more.
This morning there were six or seven ravens in my front yard for maybe ten minutes or so. I have no idea why, but I’m betting that there was something tasty there.
After they left I looked but I didn’t see anything.
Still, they’re handsome birds.
I like ravens. Sometimes they’re better conversationalists than my neighbors.
